AIM - what is the best raising agent
METHOD - 1. Measure 1/2 tsp raising agent into a test tube
2. Half fill the balloon with water
3. Put the balloon over the test tube
4. Tip in the water
5. Record what happens to the balloon
6. Warm gently
7. Record what happens to the balloon
8. Leave to one side, Record what happens after 5 - 10 mins
OBSERVATION - The best raising agent is the baking powder because it inflated the balloon faster than the active yeast
